entry 6- procrastination

Today, I decided to learn about procrastination. Why, you might ask? Perhaps because that's what I've been doing lately. I feel like I've been putting things off until the last minute and not finishing them to my full potential. I usually put it off, by telling myself, "Oh, I'll do it later" or "I'll do it tomorrow." When it shouldn't be like this, especially when it comes to things affecting my future. For example, college and work. Procrastination also has several negative consequences for us. Procrastination can harm not only my grades but also my health. So I decide to do some research on it. According to the information I found,   Procrastinators have higher levels of frustration, guilt, stress, and even anxiety.  It can even lead to serious issues like low self-esteem and depression. To avoid this, procrastination techniques such as breaking down the assignment into smaller pieces or simply scheduling breaks for yourself are available. For example, you can work for 30 minutes, then take a 10-minute break to watch TV or do something else you enjoy. I'm going to work on procrastination now that I've realized how much it affects me. Do you procrastinate, or is it just me? lol

  1. Estefany, this is a pretty good blog, I love that picture you used showing us what you've been telling yourself, then actually finding something you were interested in, making a change and not waiting till "tomorrow" to learn about it. Keep it up, THERES NO TIME TO WASTE! :)
